Objective
---------
Destroy as many meteors as you can.  You 
have 3 ships.  The Free version has 25 
Stages to work through.  Your game is over
when you have completed all 25 stages, or
after all of your ships have been destroyed.

Game Rules
----------
Large meteors when shot will
break up into 1 or 2 medium meteors, medium
meteors will break up into 1 or 2 smaller 
ones.  Smaller meteors will be destroyed 
when shot.  The smaller the meteor, the faster
it travels on screen.

Controls:
---------
  Left - rotate counterclockwise
  Right - rotate clockwise
  Up - Accelerate
  II - Shoot
  I - Warp
  Run - Pause during the game, game
        start at title screen

Screen Display
--------------
The upper left corner of the screen displays
your name stats:
   Score: your current score
   Stage: stage that you are currently on
   Ship:  number of ships that you have remaining
   Left:  number of meteors that are on left on
          the current stage


CD Version of Meteor Blaster (basic).

If you only have access to real hardware
and wish the free version on CD, then you
can order a CD-R with the basic version of 
Meteor Blaster on it.  The cost is us$6 
(includes first class mail shipping) or 
us$8 (include priority mail shipping).  Please

for ordering information.  Please note that the 
basic version will not be available on CD until
the middle of October.  This CD version will not
be the exact same as the downloadable version,
there will be more stages and more backgrounds.


Meteor Blaster Deluxe SCD.

MBdx is scheduled for release in early 2004.
This SCD game takes the basic version and adds
many features:
  Game cinemas
  CD Audio
  Additional levels
  New Game powerups and pitfalls
